In my opinion the two party system has divided the American people, aroused more conflict, and excluded a large portion to Americans. I think that the two party system should be done away with, but not just to be replaced by a three party system; that would divide us even more. I agree with Washington: political parties (factions) jeopardize the will of the nation.

I agree with you,but on washingtons note, he was correct. Correct for a country of 4 million people. Having parties makes the nation of today involved

The two party system should be divided into further factions. All the independent parties have almost no say and are left in the ruins of the major parties. Parties on the other hand do support canadites the financial need for the very expensive campaign. America needs to spread their opinion around by creating more opinions.

I agree with you that political parties do give candidates the financial support they need. I guess there are some positive points to factions.

I think the two party system should turn into a three-party system instead... That creates more room for other people's opinions and not just having the two already established parties win all the time with no consideration for anything else.

A two party system is good for the United States but it would also be good to have other factions or third parties. This way those people that don't like either of the two parties have a chance to have their voice heard. Third parties should be the ones that rise by themselves by appealing to the people.

I believe that for now the United States should stick with a two party system. This way it appeals to those people that need stability but those that are looking for something different they can go to the third parties to find what they are looking for.

I believe that the United State could expand into a wider party system. If it did go into a expand into a wider party system the people would have more chooses. So therefor they could possibly find a party that fit them better.

I believe the two party system is good for America. The two choices have what the other one might not have. Its good to have the little parties to, so that they can add opinion to the bigger ones and help motivate the other party to change.

it really doesn't matter how many parties there are or how many of them are major parties what is important is that every party is heard and that every party has a chance to say what they feel is needed by our citizens and by our government.

Yes I think that the two party system is good for the country because it keeps the options to a minimum. If there was more parties I think people would be more indecisive.
